Meet Charlie Newlands
Charlie Newlands has built a life around the water. As a professional water skier, Captain of the Canadian National Water Ski Show Team, and the 2024 IWWF Male Show Ski Athlete of the Year, he’s performed on lakes, rivers, and oceans all over the world. Now he’s bringing that same energy and passion home to Muskoka as a professional Flite instructor and local business owner. Whether it’s carving across glassy morning water or floating silently into a sunset, Charlie knows what it means to find freedom out on the lake—and he’s here to help you find it too.
At his core, Charlie keeps it real: honesty first, a smile always, and a true love for helping people experience the thrill of flight. Whether you’re stepping onto a Fliteboard for the very first time or chasing new challenges, Charlie’s goal is simple—to get you up, riding, and grinning from ear to ear.
